COA Founder Linda Pinizzotto Speaks Out

Linda Pinizzotto, Founder and Chairman of Condo Owners Association (COA), a registered non-profit Association to represent Condo Owners across the Province speaks at Queen's Park, Toronto in support of Private Members Bill 79 introduced by MPP Rosario Marchese of Trinity Spadina.

In late 2009, Linda realized a Province-wide Condo Owners Association was needed to really effect governmental changes of the Condo Act and only the strength of a COA membership of over 1,000,000  (One Million) Condo Owners across the Province would be able to represent a cohesive united voice to represent them to all levels of government.  COA can support the development of its members and foster a prosperous and sustainable economic environment while contributing to the quality of life in the condo community but this mission had to be based province wide.

In April 2009, Rosario Marchese, MPP of Trinity Spadina had called a meeting of condo owners in his riding to establish the Trinity Spadina Condo Owners Association to lobby government on behalf of the condo residents in the local neighbourhood.   Over 60 people attended and an executive was elected with Linda Pinizzotto as their 1st President.  Over the next few months many directors found the time and commitment challenging and respectfully resigned.
